An 18-year-old student TRAVELED into SPACE with billionaire Jeff Bezos, in what was one of the first commercial trips into space. The young man, son of a billionaire who won the bid to make the trip, was one of the youngest people to go into space.

A Dutch student aged 18 was the fourth person to accompany Amazon founder Jeff Bezos on his trip into space last Tuesday. Reported earlier on Thursday the aerospace company Blue Origin.

The young man's name is Oliver Daemen, he is the son of a billionaire, he recently finished high school. He wishes to learn physics and innovation management at theUniversity of Utrecht, in the Netherlands.

This fourth place was initially reserved for the highest bidder in an open auction. However, the winning bidder, who paid $28 million, ended up resigning "due to scheduling inconveniences."

Thus, Blue Origin relinquished the position to the individual who had produced the second-largest bid. Oliver's dad, who concurrently gifted the position to his son.

Daemen joined Jeff and his brother Mark Bezos, as well as U.S. pilot Wally Funk on what was Blue Origin's first passenger ride. The aerospace company was implanted by the until just a little over a week ago adviser in charge of Amazon.
